Breakfast club
Running term time from Mondays to Fridays, the breakfast service is open from 7:30am – 8:00am.
Afterschool club
For those who wish to stay longer, our Afterschool Club, with its emphasis on play, is popular with working parents. The club also encourages friendships across different age groups. Sessions run from 3:15pm to 5:00pm and includes Tea.
Collecting your daughter
We are strong advocates of walking, cycling or scooting to and from school where possible. However if you need to use your car it’s usually fairly easy to park during the Afterschool Club times.
School holidays
During most school holidays, Supercamps, an Ofsted registered company, runs activities for children aged 4 to 13 years on our Prep School site.
We’ve been working with them for many years and have always had very positive feedback from children and parents.
Their camp days run from 8:00am to 6:00pm and can provide an invaluable service particularly for working parents.
Lunches
All girls are provided with a hot meal, freshly prepared and cooked on site and served in our spacious dining room. Salad and other meal choices are also available. Girls are regularly asked for feedback which helps us ensure what we offer is suitable. Allergies are of course also catered for. The school’s in-house catering staff offer morning break snacks and a wide range of dishes at lunchtime.
A lunch arrangement is organised each term for pupils up to Year 10, and this is included in the GDST fee. For additional purchases, including soft drinks at break and lunchtime, a biometric system allows parents to load funds onto their daughter’s account via ParentPay.com.
A well balanced main meal is always provided, offering a full choice of savoury items and an appealing selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. Pupils in Year 11 and above can either choose individual items from the menu, have the two course lunch or bring a packed lunch.
