Welcome to Beach School: Where Learning Meets the Waves
Here at Brighton Girls School, we are enormously fortunate to be located just five minutes from Brighton seafront, giving us the unique opportunity to run Beach School sessions for all of our pupils throughout the year. This is supported through our partnerships with local organisations, such as the Sussex Dolphin Project. We believe in taking education beyond the confines of traditional classrooms, allowing the beach to become the backdrop for exploration, discovery, and endless learning possibilities.
Nature as Our Classroom
At Beach School, the natural world becomes our playground and our classroom. With the beach as our classroom, pupils have the opportunity to learn amidst the diverse ecosystems, witness diverse marine life, and develop a deep appreciation for our local environment.

Beach School is designed to ignite curiosity and encourage active engagement. The beach environment stimulates all of the senses, sparking a natural desire to explore, question, and seek answers. Whether we are litter picking, examining seashells, or observing coastal wildlife, our students become natural-born explorers and caretakers.
