Through the PTFA we aim to advance students’ education by developing relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school. And by engaging in activities, or providing facilities or equipment, to support the school.
Examples of activities and facilities that have been funded either in full or in part by the PTFA include two grand pianos, an orchestral xylophone, musical equipment, camping equipment for the Duke of Edinburgh Award, retractable seating for the Senior School, virtual reality (VR) headsets, picnic tables, friendship benches, and contributions to the Year 13 Leavers’ Ball and refurbishment of the Art Gallery.
The PTFA organises a number of fundraising and social events during the year; coffee mornings and nearly new uniform sales, a Christmas Fair, Quiz Night, Movie Nights and Summer Garden Party.
