The U12 Netball team were crowned 2023 Sussex Champions at SISNA (the Sussex Independent School Netball Association tournament).
The standard, as always, was incredibly high at the annual netball event, SISNA, with 15 schools from all over Sussex making the journey to Brighton’s historic coast. It was blowy and it was cold but neither of these factors deterred or stopped our U12s in their conquest to achieve gold.
They grew in strength and maturity throughout the afternoon, proving that they could work well as a team unit. Brighton Girls U12 stormed through the group stages winning every match, racing to a comfortable win against Roedean in the semi-finals.
It was Brighton College prep next and the composure and drive of Brighton Girls took us through to the very end and a fabulous win, making us U12 Sussex Champions! It is an enormous achievement. Well done to each of the team: Elsie, Nellie, Nella, Maisie, Megan, Alex, Lois, Mia, and Lilly.
