As part of their Minibeast topic, Nursery have been on several intrepid Minibeast hunts in the school garden. Many a woodlouse has been rescued from the Nursery bathroom and placed in safe damp places. The girls also studied honey bees, which entailed tasting different honey, choosing their favourite and making honey sandwiches. Nursery have even been visited in the classroom by a worm and snail, so they could examine their patterns. The greatest excitement, however, came at Sports Day practice where the girls discovered caterpillars on the plants near the AstroTurf.
