Creative Writing Prize – National
Ella was amongst three shortlisted pupils who submitted a piece of creative writing to the GDST Writing Prize. She had to first win in her age category to progress to the national competition. The theme was ‘fearlessness’ and the entries were judged by Harriet Goodwin, an alumna of Bromley High School and a published author. Harriet chose Ella’s piece “Little Penguin’s Brave Adventure” as the national Year 1 and 2 category winner and described it as “Lovely, timeless storytelling. Could easily be made into a little picture-book.” Well done Ella.
