Rock Challenge 2018 | Tuesday 30th January
On Tuesday, Years 8 and upwards participated in the Rock Challenge competition in Crawley.It was an enjoyable day for everyone involved and we loved showing our much loved and rehearsed piece, The Gruffalo, to the audience. Upon arrival, we met the other seven schools and were given a talk about the day ahead. We watched all the other schools’ dances whose themes varied from the Black Plague to a peek into behind the scenes of Over the Rainbow. When we performed everything went fabulously well and we were really pleased with our combined dancing and acting skills! We waited apprehensively for the results whilst we met the special guests and judges. The overall outcome was third place accompanied by six awards including Excellence in Visual Enhancement, Lighting and Choreography.
