Last Friday 50 students from Collège Les Iris in Lyon, France came to visit the Year 9 & 10 girls who they have been exchanging letters with for the past year.
Once past the initial nervousness of meeting new people and conversing in a different language everyone had a brilliant time hot-footing it between various landmarks in town in a bid to win the real-life game of Brighton Monopoly. Once back at school and revived by juice & cookies teams partook in an Anglo-Franco pop-culture quiz, complete with a picture round, music round and dancing from the French teachers! A brilliant afternoon was had by all and hopefully some friendships have been struck-up between the BHHS and Les Iris students.
