Brighton Girls is thrilled to announce a phenomenal set of A-Level results with 43% of all grades being A*/A and 100% pass rate. Staff, parents, and peers joined Year 13 leavers this morning to celebrate both outstanding academic achievement and the remarkable contributions of the Class of 2025 to the wider life of the school.

Stand-out achievements include:

Isla leaves Brighton Girls achieving a remarkable clean sweep of A* grades in Classical Civilisation, Psychology, and Dance.

Megan achieves an incredible A*, A and A in Latin, English Literature and Religious Studies.

Students were awarded top grades in their EPQs, and three students achieved the DELE and DELF language qualifications. Meanwhile, Latin, French and Dance departments are celebrating 100% A*-A grade success rate.

This brilliant cohort leaves a lasting legacy. They conceived and launched the LEAD project ‘Slice of Brighton’, creating their own Brighton cookbook, selling multiple copies, and winning an award from the GDST for Best Financial Performance as well as honourable mention for Social Impact. They have led younger students with care and creativity, bringing passion and flair to our school community.

A-Level grades are only part of the story. True success lies in how students pursue their passions. This year’s leavers are heading to a wide range of ambitious destinations, including Amherst College, Massachusetts, King’s College, Royal Holloway, University of London and University of Edinburgh.

Melinda English, Head of Brighton Girls, commented:

“Bright, energetic, talented, and community-spirited, our A-Level students have exemplified all-round excellence and fully deserve their incredible results. We wish them the very best in their future endeavours.”

Congratulations to the Class of 2025!
