At Brighton Girls, we are immensely proud to support and celebrate the achievements of our pupils who are thriving in club sport outside of school. As an independent school, we are in the fortunate position of being able to offer a rich and varied experience within the school environment, while also encouraging our girls to pursue their passions and compete at high levels in their respective clubs during weekends.
Our strong relationships with local netball clubs such as NRG, 5Ways, MSN, and Magic enable our girls to develop both in school and beyond, and we are thrilled to see so many of them achieving remarkable success on the court.
Among the recent highlights, Isobel in Year 7 made an outstanding contribution to her U12 squad at 5Ways, winning the London Pulse – Road to the Copper Box competition, held at the iconic Copper Box Arena. Meanwhile, Elsie in Year 9 represented her U14 5Ways team at the National Finals, securing an impressive 11th place. Also in Year 9, Mia competed with her U14 Magic Netball team at the England Grand Finals, finishing in a superb 5th place.
The future looks exceptionally bright, as we recently received confirmation that ten of our students have been selected for next year’s South Regional Squads. This is a fantastic achievement and a testament to their hard work, dedication, and the strength of our school and club partnerships.
We are incredibly proud of all our netballers and cannot wait to see them continue to develop and flourish over the coming year. Congratulations to every one of you, your success inspires us all!
