The cancellation of the School Christmas Fair due to COVID precautions saw student Marcie  swing into action to organise her own mini fair instead, and raise funds for the Salvation Army. As Marcie’s programme says, “The money will go to Salvation Army Christmas Appeal for the people who cannot afford any sort of Christmas…”

Despite the reduced visitor numbers (some neighbours and friends!) she still managed to raise £37.04 via a series of stalls and events. Marcie enlisted several helpers and her fair activities included:
• Guess the chocolate coins in a jar
• Make your own tree decoration
• Decorate a Gingerbread biscuit
• Karaoke Xmas hits
• Painted Xmas nails
• Decorate a party bag

What a great example of creative thinking, kindness and community spirit.
