Brighton Girls are delighted to announce their official sponsorship of the Mini Mile, part of the Brighton Marathon weekend which is now postponed to September. The 2020 Mini Mile Races, supporting Cancer Research UK for Children & Young People, is open to 7-17 year olds and gives over 2,000 youngsters a chance to experience and participate in the Brighton Marathon Weekend.

With Brighton Girls onboard as a partner for 2020, we have helped to make the event free again this year and accessible for all. Starting and finishing in Preston Park, the races take place over a one mile course within a race village complete with entertainment, stage, screen and food & drink. There is something for all the family to come along and enjoy.

It also supports the efforts of Cancer Research UK for Children & Young People, a campaign that raises money for research into new, better and kinder treatments for children and young people with cancer. Every day around 12 children and young people (aged 0-24) are diagnosed with cancer in the UK. Despite improvements in survival, cancer is the leading cause of death from disease among this group in the UK.

You can do your bit to help beat children’s cancers when you take part in the Brighton Mini Mile by fundraising for this worthy cause and Brighton Girls will look to cheering you on!
