Last Friday we took our First Lego League team up to Crawley for the regional tournament.

The girls had built a robot capable of completing a series of challenges all linked to human-animal interactions. They also presented their project about dormice to the judges and competed in a team challenge to build a bridge across a river. The girls showed fantastic team spirit in our first year of this challenging STEM competition and we learnt a considerable amount to take forward into our next season. Now, we are looking forward to using our Lego MINDSTORMS kit to develop bigger and better robots. Anyone interested in getting involved or finding out more about this exciting project should talk to Mrs N Smith at STEM club on Tuesdays.
