On the 18th of June, we both travelled to Chichester University to take part in the Sussex Netball County Trials for 2016-2017.
We took part in an afternoon of highly competitive netball, with girls from clubs and schools across the county. It resulted in both of us being chosen (along with currently seven other Athletes – the rest of the Academy is yet to be decided) to train every week in Chichester as part of the England Netball Performace Pathway. For BHHS, this is the first time two Brighton & Hove students have been selected for the academy in the past 10 years, so we are very happy with this achievement.
We are looking forward to this challenging and exciting year ahead of us.
